After hearing rave reviews from multiple friends, I recently purchased the Theragun Mini 2.0! This is a compact deep tissue treatment for any athlete on the go. It is the perfect travel size for my gym bag or to take on vacations. The compact size encourages me to take it more places and use my percussion gun more.
Industry Leader
Therabody states they are an “industry leader who has been innovating ways to take charge of your daily wellness for over a decade with products like Theragun.” As a person who is very active I purchased a percussion gun years ago off amazon. It was affordable, had numerous attachments (I mainly only use the one) and did the job pretty well I thought. However, once I tried the leading percussion gun – the Theragun I found the quality to be so much better. The Theragun is much quieter than my off brand percussion gun and does a much better job getting the muscles.
2.0 Version

Other Percussion Guns
I don’t always go for the name brand item in many cases the off brand is just as good and way more affordable. This is the approach I first used when finally breaking down and purchasing a percussion gun. I’d see friends and other active people using their percussion guns and I decided it was finally time to get one of my very own. I did a little research and decided to go for an off-brand percussion gun from amazon. It came with 16 different pieces, which seemed like an added bonus at first. If you are like me, you’ll only use 1 to 2 attachments at most and the others just sit in a box. I opted for the $79 option, not the highest or the lowest priced. It was surprisingly quiet and powerful.
I used this one for a couple of years then my friend was raving about her Theragun, I tried it out and could distinctly tell the difference in quality and effectiveness. If I had a blindfold test, I would be able to identify the Theragun from other subpar options. I especially love the mini 2.0 for its compact travel capabilities.
Furthermore, my mom enjoyed using my percussion gun when she visited and wanted one of her own. She is on a lower budget and opted for a $20 amazon option; I had no idea they could run this low in price! She seems to like it okay, but you know how the saying goes… you get what you pay for. This is certainly the case with the $20 percussion gun on amazon. It is not powerful at all and a little noisy.

In summary, if you are looking for a percussion gun don’t waste your good money on the cheaper versions first, grab a Theragun. You’ll be happy you did! You can thank me after 😉
